Apple Tree Pet Resort is a unique dog and cat boarding facility in Chiltern VIC, situated on 18 acres of undulating pasture overlooking the Hume Freeway. Our kennels have been designed so that your pets are involved with the everyday comings and goings of staff and clients.
Our kennels are brick with indoor and outdoor runs ranging from 5 to 13 metres. All of our boarding kennels and catteries have split system heating and cooling for the comfort of your pets. Our large inside and outside all day runs can accommodate two large dogs comfortably. All dogs are exercised individually in our large grassed runs . No dogs are exercised together unless they come in together.
Apple Tree Pet Resort has over 30 years experience in the professional care of animals and we feel that our complex is second to none. Further more, we are highly recommended by vets. Our clients range from Melbourne to Albury, Wodonga, Wangaratta, Corowa, Beechworth Rutherglen, Chiltern and many other places in Victoria, NSW and the ACT. All our staff are chosen for their natural affinity with both cats and dogs. They are trained to be gentle, caring, observant, and knowledgeable.
Feeding
From our large separate kitchen area, a wide range of premium quality ADVANCE DRY product is used for both cats and dogs.
For the dogs, we mix either cooked or raw chicken mince with the ADVANCE DRY product, which is prepared fresh daily. We also have raw chicken necks which cater to the larger dogs that like to munch on something.
For the cats we have an assortment of premium wet foods which would suit the most fussiest of eaters.
Cats have feeding charts attached to their doors to enable us to monitor daily food intake.
If your pet has special dietary requirements, you are most welcome to supply your own food.
If your pet requires any medication, this can also be administerd by experienced staff.
We do not supply bones, however you are welcome to bring your own bones or treats for your pets.

A little about the owners Jackie And Steve Wraith {Owners/ Managers} began successfully breeding and showing “BEAUTELLE” English Springer Spaniels at the beginning of the 80’s. We have enjoyed many hours of happiness and love together with our dogs. We have had much pleasure in seeing others show the BEAUTELLE Prefix with the highest of awards throughout Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
We also breed and currently show world class quality BEAUTELLE Pointers, winning many significant "best in show" awards under well respected Australian, New Zealand, and overseas judges. It is our love of animals that encouraged us to buy Apple Tree, a world class animal accommodation facility.
